Our online payment system, powered by Maya, uses an Authorize and Capture process. This means a hold is placed on the customer's card for a specified amount at the time of purchase, and funds are captured later when the transaction is finalized. The holding period and capture limits depend on the type of authorization (Normal, Final, or Preauthorization). Merchants can capture funds partially or fully within the holding period. If the authorization is not captured by the expiration date, the held amount will be released back to the cardholder.
